Quarter Beef Share Reservation

This reservation locks in a quarter beef straight off our farm. Want to pick your own animal? Text 865-454-6988 and we will schedule a quick selection. Plan on needing at least a 4 to 6 cubic feet freezer. Weights and final take home amounts vary, but most customers fill a good portion of a freezer with a quarter beef. Below are the details and how the process works.

Price and deposit

Quarter share price is $6.25 per pound hanging weight. Hanging weight is the weight reported by the processor after harvest.

A $250 nonrefundable reservation deposit is due today to lock in your share. The deposit applies toward your final total. The remaining balance is due when hanging weight is confirmed and your final invoice is sent. If you cancel after reserving, the deposit is forfeited.

Turnaround time

Because this is a quarter share, the remaining shares must be reserved and sold before we can take the animal to the processor. Once all shares are reserved, we will confirm your processing window and estimated pickup and delivery timing.

Processing and packaging

Processing and packaging are included in the $6.25 per pound price. Your final total is calculated as hanging weight times $6.25. Any optional upgrades you choose that add cost at the processor will be billed separately, if applicable.

Cut choices and support

After your deposit is received, we will confirm your processing window and provide the cut sheet. We can walk you through the cut sheet step by step. If you want help, text 865-454-6988. Messaging through the store works too, but texting is faster.

Delivery

Free local delivery is included within 20 miles. If you are outside that radius, we will message you with delivery options. Your order will arrive frozen and packaged.

What to expect

Final take home weight varies by animal and by your cut choices. If you want the simplest plan, choose the standard cut option. If you want full control, customize your cuts using the cut sheet.

Important purchase terms

This purchase is for a share of a live animal and ownership transfers to the buyer before harvest. Processing is performed at a licensed custom facility. Packages are marked Not for Sale and are for the owner’s personal use only and may not be resold.
